I was not told I would have sharp ceramic protrusions on my teeth (called “attachments”) that are every bit as irritating as braces would have been. Plus, the estimate of “4-6 months” turned into 17 months…another fact I didn’t learn until I was already cranked back in the chair.
I told my ortho that I did NOT want perfectly straight teeth…I’m nearly 60! I just wanted to correct a simple problem. Invisalign forces you to get perfectly straight teeth, designed by computer.
